Can hotels avoid being
locked into one lock brand?
Yes, within the configurations FLEXIPASS lists. FLEXIPASS connects PMS and guest platforms to digital keys across lock providers, so properties with different lock systems can use one access platform. Compatibility is specific to each lock and software configuration, not to a brand.
What does vendor-agnostic mean here?
FLEXIPASS is an open platform with an API. It works with lock systems from several providers, including ASSA ABLOY, dormakaba and SALTO, and further providers listed in the compatibility guide.
FLEXIPASS does not rank lock brands. A provider appearing in the guide does not mean every model, firmware or hardware option is supported.

The table is built from the same lock catalogue as the compatibility check. It shows what is listed today for each provider family. Entries marked coming soon are not current matches.

What if our properties use different lock brands?
Check each property’s lock configuration on its own. Each result is specific to that property’s lock software and hardware, and your PMS and guest platform selections stay in the same check.

Does FLEXIPASS favour one lock brand?
No. Which key technologies are available depends on the lock and software configuration. The lists on the compatibility pages show what is listed today.
Do we have to replace our locks?
You may be able to keep your locks when the lock models and access software support the key type you choose. Some properties need software changes, licences, readers, connectivity or hardware upgrades.
What if our lock is not listed?
Choose Other in the compatibility check and send your lock brand, model and software. An unlisted lock is treated as needing review, never as a match.
Can different properties use different lock brands?
Compatibility is checked for each lock configuration, so properties with different systems are reviewed individually.
