Which API fits the guest experience?
Use the Mobile Key API to manage supported app-based keys, the Webkeys API for browser room access, or the Wallet Key API for a supported wallet experience. The Mobile Key SDK adds supported room access to your guest app.
What does the integration need?
Confirm your platform, installed lock software, readers, connectivity and guest-delivery workflow with FLEXIPASS. A door-lock brand alone does not establish compatibility. Use the compatibility checker as a starting point; the complete installation needs review.
How do developers get access?
- Contact FLEXIPASS with the platform, intended key technology and property setup.
- Complete the API NDA and arrange development credentials and integration guidance.
- Test the approved key workflow and complete certification before production rollout.
What should be tested before rollout?
Check key delivery after approved check-in, room changes, stay extensions and access expiry at checkout. Test the selected guest devices and lock configuration. Keep staff assistance and an alternative entry method available.
Do guests need an app or internet access?
Mobile Keys use a compatible app and require connectivity to download or update the key; a supported downloaded key communicates with the lock over Bluetooth. Webkeys open in a browser without a separate key app and require a supported online lock and connectivity. Wallet Keys require supported devices, wallets and compatible readers.
